Pound For Pound 2013 will be a one-day competition for individuals and teams. Individuals will choose from three divisions: Advanced, Intermediate and Masters. Individuals who are 40 years old and older can choose to compete in the Masters division. Teams (two members, any combination of male and female) will choose from two divisions: Advanced and Intermediate. Below, we have outlined descriptions for each division. Note: The movements listed in the descriptions may or may not be movements you will be required to perform at #4# 2013.
Scaling – There will be an opportunity for you to scale and modify the workouts if necessary. However, note that scaling a workout will automatically rank you below those in your division who have not scaled the workout and will make you ineligible for placement/prizes.
ADVANCED

Athletes who choose the Advanced division are able to perform the advanced bodyweight (BW) and weightlifting (WL) movements, e.g. handstand push-ups, snatch, and clean and jerk. Advanced males should be able to deadlift 2 times their body weight once and 1.5 times their body weight for reps. Advanced females should be able to deadlift 1.5 times their body weight once and their body weight for reps.
