Pound For Pound 2013 is be a one-day competition for individuals and teams. Individuals choose from three divisions: Advanced, Intermediate and Masters. Individuals who are 40 years old and older can choose to compete in the Masters division. Teams (two members, any combination of male and female) will choose from two divisions: Advanced and Intermediate. Descriptions for each division can be found on our Divisions page. Note: Individuals must 16 years of age or older in order to compete.
Registration is closed. We are at capacity for the event. Note: Fifty percent of proceeds from registration will go toward Special Operations Warrior Foundation. But you can donate more or help us raise more – learn how.
ATHLETE NEED-TO-KNOW INFORMATION

We will no longer be making changes to divisions and teams after registration closes or we reach max capacity, whichever comes first. Registration is closed.
FRIDAY CHECK-IN & JUDGES MEETING
Check-in for athletes and volunteers is Friday (May 10) from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. NOTE: Athletes MUST check in on Friday evening because we have to update athletes’ weight classes that evening. During check-in, athletes will weigh in, receive a wrist band and event shirt, and have their photograph taken. Judges are required to attend the Judges Meeting at 7 p.m. Check-In and the Judges Meeting are held at the Venue.
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
We will be publishing heat schedules the week of the event on our Events page. The first event for most athletes starts at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday (May 11). All athletes will need to check in at the event table 10 minutes prior to every event. Athletes who miss their heat will automatically receive a DQ (disqualification) for that event. The Opening Ceremony starts at 7:35 a.m. and will be held on the Cramton Bowl football field. All athletes will have at least one hour for a lunch break between events. The Awards Ceremony will start after the final event. The Final Event will start at 5:00 p.m. and includes all Advanced athletes, individual and team.
If you need assistance during the competition, go to the Information Desk, located at the main entrance of the Multiplex. This is also the location to make a donation, bid on the Silent Auction, and purchase discounted equipment used at the competition. Be sure to bring cash with you!
Be sure to stop by our Vendors to see what they have to offer. PurMotion, WODLIFE, Health Wise Foods, Fit Phreak, Reebok Certified CrossFit 2L2Q, Earth Fare and possibly others will be present. Their tables will be located on the main arena floor of the Multiplex.
Restrooms are located in the main hall as you enter the front doors of the Multiplex on the Upper Level. Locker rooms for males and females are located on the lower level of the Multiplex. Each locker room includes four toilet stalls, two sinks, eight showers, and a small room for you to change. Outside the two sets of showers and restrooms are two larger rooms where the massage and bodywork specialists will be located. There will be a designated area indoors where athletes can place tents and chairs. There is stadium seating on the football field and there are some bleachers on the main arena floor inside. If you want to insure you have a chair, bring a camping chair with you.
Be sure to bring cash with you! We are having food brought in by the owner of Montgomery Dreamland Bar-B-Que Restaurant and Railyard Brewing Company. Massage and bodywork specialists from Hands on Healing will be providing athletic massages and kinesio taping. MJ and her crew from MJ Yoga will offer a stretching session with athletes in a heated tent.
We will be using the main entrance to the Multiplex located at 220 Hall Street, Montgomery, Alabama 36104. The parking lots for the Multiplex are accessed from Hall Street and Hilliard Street. Both Hall and Hilliard streets can be accessed from two main streets downtown – Madison Avenue and Adams Avenue.
