Athlete Check-In is Friday (May 11) from 6:00 – 8:30 p.m. All divisions except for Beginners are required to check in on Friday evening. Beginners may check in anytime Friday evening or between 7 and 8 a.m. Saturday morning. There will be late check-in Saturday morning at 6:15 a.m. at the Information Tent for those who ABSOLUTELY cannot come Friday night because of an obligation. If we have a large group of people register on Saturday it could throw off our schedule so PLEASE REGISTER FRIDAY! Plus there are a few surprises that will be announced Friday evening during Check-In that will make you glad you did!
Due to gym space, parking limitations, and to maximize efficiency, we are requesting that all Intermediate athletes (individuals and teams) check in at 6:00 p.m. and all Advanced athletes (individuals and teams) check in at 7:00 p.m. and that only participating athletes attend registration. Masters may check-in at any time between 6 and 8:30 p.m.
There will be an ongoing Q & A Session during Check-In in which we will write your questions on the board and provide answers. So if you come at 7 p.m., you will be able to read the Q & A that were posed between 6 and 7 p.m.
There will be potentially 300 athletes checking in over 2 1/2 hours. There may be lines. We will do what we can to facilitate a quick check-in; however, we ask that you please be patient and kinds to our volunteers. All Advanced, Intermediate and Masters athletes will be weighed in on a scale and asked a few questions before receiving their wrist band (on their wrists) and shirts (if they registered before the shirt deadline). The last part of the Check-In process includes a photo taken of the athletes which we will use on our rosters and provide to the athletes at no cost. So be sure to wear your favorite CrossFit tee!
Judges are required to attend the Judges Meeting at 7 p.m. Athlete Check-In and the Judges Meeting are both held at The Boneyard, CrossFit Montgomery’s gym, located at 41 East Railroad Street, Montgomery, AL 36104.
