The heat schedule and athlete roster have been published to our Events page. Email us at email@example.com if there is an issue and we will try to resolve it before you arrive for Check-In. All athletes will need to check in at the event table 10 minutes prior to every event. Athletes who miss their heat will automatically receive a DQ (disqualification) for that event. The Opening Ceremony starts at 7:35 a.m. and will be held on the Cramton Bowl football field. All athletes will have at least one hour for a lunch break between events. The Awards Ceremony will start after the final event. The Final Event will start at 5:00 p.m. and includes all Advanced athletes, individual and team.
Check-in for athletes and volunteers is Friday (May 10) from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. During check-in, athletes will weigh in, receive a wrist band and event shirt, and have their photograph taken. We ask that all athletes be patient with the process. If there is an issue with your information, we will get it resolved. Judges are required to attend the Judges Meeting at 7 p.m. Athlete Check-In and the Judges Meeting are held at the Venue. Volunteers may also check-in to receive their goodie bag, shirt and name tag during this time.

The subject of the email turns into the picture title and the body turns into the image description on Flickr. Our goal is to make sure every athlete gets their picture taken. Pound For Pound 2013 is powered by Wright Equipment. Wright Equipment has provided a majority of the equipment – sleds, jump boxes, barbells, bumpers, etc. to be used in the competition. Some of these items will be for sale during the event and available for pick-up after the event. If you are interested in purchasing this pre-loved equipment, go to the Information Desk to make your purchase. Cash and credit cards only. Note: If you are paying with a credit card, you will need to go to the Information Desk to pay between 3:30 and 4:00 p.m. Be sure you receive a receipt!
In an effort to raise money for our charity, the Special Operations Warrior Foundation, we are having a Silent Auction the day of the event. The Silent Auction begins Saturday at 7:30 a.m. and ends at 3:00 p.m. and is located at the Information Desk. Payment and pick-up are from 3:30 – 4:00 p.m. at the Information Desk. If the highest bidders do not come to the Information Desk by 4:00 p.m. we will give their item to the second highest bidder. So please be sure to check in from time to time to see if you won. Cash or credit cards are accepted.

We are pleased to announce that Freelap is a sponsor for Pound For Pound 2013. Freelap has provided us with a timing kit that includes ten stopwatches and six transmitters for use in our Field Test events: Sprint, Sled Drag and Agility Course. The Freelap stopwatches are automatically triggered when the receiver passes a transmitter and records the time. We’re all high tech!
Pound For Pound 2013 is a one day competition. Each division will participate in four events comprised of a mixture of CrossFit movements designed to identify the fittest athlete in each division. The Opening Ceremony is at 7:35 a.m. The first workouts will start at 8:00 a.m. and the Final Event for the top Advanced Individuals and Teams will start at 5:00 p.m.
